This tune is popular in Texas fiddle contests and in bluegrass jams. The arrangement is based on the fiddling of Bobby Hicks. There's a few signature Bobby style licks as well!

Read through the tab and develop a plan to learn only the key measures before trying to play the song in it's entirety. This is effective and efficient practice!
Also, any time you see a 7th fret note, you can play that on the open string just below. It will be easier on your fretting hand, but would then require a string crossing with your pick hand. Either way, it's gonna require some practice.
