This arrangement is based closely on Bill Monroe's playing. It comes from his mandolin playing as heard on Kenny Baker's recording of this tune. Bill is not as notey as some modern players, but there are always some tough challenges when trying to play his style of Mandolin. Quick string crossings with the pick hand, along with quick fret hand movements may need some extra attention. Use the looper for individual measures or sections to nail the tough spots.
There are also some great licks to mix and match here. You can find really cool ways to bridge traditional and slightly more contemporary licks to get a whole new sound.
