So Much Backup, So Please Stay on Time

If you've been using Tunefox for a little while know, you probably know we have an extensive library of songs and licks. A large majority of that is backup focused. Backup is 90% of banjo playing when playing at a jam or in a group. You need to practice it a lot.

Try out this backup for Think of what you've done. It has some basic rolling backup, then moves up the neck. It uses a different style of backup that borrows licks from Sally Gooden, and Foggy Mountain Special. You'll hear these backup licks in other songs with a similar timing and feel.

Some great Scruggs style rolling backup and up the neck fills. Listen to the Larry Sparks recording of this tune to hear it in action.
