Looking Ahead

In this unit you'll be introduced to some fundamentals of up the neck Scruggs style banjo. We'll use Sally Goodin' as a vehicle to study a variety of up the neck techniques, positions and a few licks. This is an intermediate course, so having some playing experience will be very helpful. We're going to use a variety of rolls, there'll be several position shifts, and we'll be using every left hand finger-including pinky!
