Some are to give you different ideas for a possible variation. Some licks in this tune are to show you how to play the same lick with a different fingering. Some phrases may be quite a stretch, so there are some options to alleviate strain if you need them.

Once you are able to play this tune, don't just play it once through. Turn on the looper and put in some reps. Really gibe yourself a workout and build up some good muscle memory.
