The C Major Scale
One Octave with Downstrokes
In this lesson you are going to learn the C major scale. This scale is associated with the C chord that we covered in a previous lesson.
Just like the G major scale, this scale consists of 7 different notes. You're going to start with your ring finger on the 5th fret, 4th string for the C major scale. To focus on the left hand position, use only downstrokes with your picking hand. Watch the video below for more explanation and a demonstration.
