This is a simple arrangement of Old Joe Clark. If you are a beginner, make it even more simple by using the Difficulty slider and setting it to easy. This will require only downstrokes with your pick. This tune is played out of G shapes and mostly in the first position. This means for the most part, you'll match the finger to the fret. Use your first finger for the first fret notes, second for second, etc. The only measures that require a position shift to 2nd position are measures 6 & 10.
If you set the difficulty to hard, you'll have a smoking version of this fiddle tune going. Explore the licks to add in some traditional fiddle tune variations and other hot licks.
