For the most part, you'll play this in 1st position. That means you'll match the finger to the fret. For example use your 1st finger to play the notes on the first fret. These fingerings are marked above the tablature. There are times when you'll need to shift, or move your hand, to second position. Make shifts while open strings are played.
Pick direction is also indicated below the tablature. There are times when upstrokes are indicated. This helps with speed and efficiency. If you are a beginner and this is tough for you there's another option. As long as you are going at a slow speed, you can play the entire tune with downstrokes.
