Listen & Learn Challenge - Ending Lick [Banjo]
Learning
Welcome to our first Listen & Learn challenge for banjo!
The goal of this challenge is to promote and encourage learning by ear because we believe it leads to a better understanding of music, composition, and improvisation. Basically it enhances your overall creativity, which is what we're all about!
This tab features one of our favorite Tunefox functions - Hide Notes.
You'll notice that half of the notes in the tab are randomly hidden. This is so you can learn them by ear! Need to hear one note at a time? No problem. Simply click on the note you want to hear and it will play.
There are currently no prizes for this challenge. We hope you'll participate in just because you love learning, plus it'll give you an opportunity to learn a new lick :). If you want, share a video on your on your Facebook wall, tag us and we'll let you know if you got it right!
We'd call this an intermediate/advanced lick because it blends styles - the first measure of this lick is in single string style and the 2nd measure is Scruggs style. Have fun and please let us know if you have any questions in the comment section below.
