9/19/2019: Banjo Lick of the Week
learning
Here's a signature Earl Scruggs backup lick in the key of G. It's played out of the G 1st inversion position (otherwise known as the D position) at the 9th fret on the banjo and it starts with an open G string played with your thumb. Use the tempo scrubber to make it slow and play along with the tab for practice. You can also look beneath the tab for a video.
