This is a super simple two finger style version of this tune. Learn the melody before jumping in with this. We are using the index finger to play the lead notes, and the thumb plays our drone string. Because this arrangement doesn't include "fast" banjo playing, you could also play everything with the thumb. It would be a great work out to play it either way.
We are adding in some extra notes that helps fill space without being too fast or complex for beginner players. This gets us used to using the fifth string and other fill notes. Check out the licks to hear some examples of more "authentic" sounding Two finger style banjo. It's tougher, but with Tunefox tools it's also doable! Use FOCUS and the tempo & difficulty sliders to practice effectively and in a way that suits your needs and skill level.
Ideally you know and have the melody memorized. Another clue in the tablature are the accent symbols -">". This means to play the accented note slightly louder than the other notes. This will bring out the melody! don't worry about accenting notes until you can play the basic arrangement in time and repeatedly.
