Earl Scruggs would often play in Drop C tuning. C minor was much less common. Still, there's a lot of classic Scruggs vocabulary to draw from and that's what we're doing here. Noticee the accents. these are placed so that you will accent the melody notes. Sometimes the roll you play doesn't start on the melody note and accenting the melody in the midst of the roll will bring out the heart of the tune. Oh, and by the way we're taking this classic waltz feel and playing it in standard timing for that driving bluegrass sound!
