This is the classic ending lick as played by Earl Scruggs on this tune. Check out the banjo tab. It has a one measure lead up and measure two has that tried and true "shave and a haircut" sound - but up the neck. That portion in measure 2 may be the toughest if you haven't learned an up the neck Scruggs Style tune like Sally Goodin before. Whenever you are jamming and several people have taken leads on the tune you can use this lick after the last measure of the lead to "officially" end the song. Look for someone to stick out their leg. That's the international jam symbol indicating to end the tune at the end of the current run through.
