Big Rock Candy Mountain - Two Finger

Back
  • Two Finger
  • Key   G
  • Tempo   80 bpm
  • Tuning   gDGBD

This song works great in the two finger style. In the A section we are using mostly thumb lead. That means the thumb is playing the lead/melody notes. When the melody is on the first string we momentarily switch to index lead. It's much easier to play index lead on the first string. Pay attention to the fingerings in the tablature for the fret and pick hand. If you do, you will notice a switch to index lead in the B section.

Listen to the song and read through the tablature before starting to learn this. Do that with any song you learn. Notice how some measures repeat multiple times. Just practice one of those with the focus feature. Doing this with other measures will help you learn this song much more efficiently and progress quicker.
