A beginner backup arrangement of Banjo in the Hollow designed to teach root position G, C, and D chords. Take it very slow at first so you can nail the timing. If you notice, we are using the same major chord shape throughout the basic arrangement. After you get the timing down, try out a few licks. You don't want to get too fancy when playing backup, because you don't want to draw attention away from the lead singer or soloist, but a little variety can add a lot and help keep things moving and interesting.
